Was so jealous I got this for my mom. Will be buying one for myself because the scent is incredible!My wife got this for her mom and it's cute. She loved the "mom was right about everything" sentiment and the mother-in-law got a kick out of it. The lavender scent is really nice too. But the candle is not very big and at $24 it's pretty pricey for what you get. Ultimately it's mostly about the novelty design, which is indeed cute.I ordered this hilarious candle for Mother's Day this year and it was such a hit! My mom adored it! The message is quirky, cute, and humbling as heck. Who hasn't felt the spikes of regret and shame as they realized their mom was right the entire time? That you would have to go up to your mom and admit it? In some ways, this candle is both funny and a compliment. I love that about it! It's clever and also really accurate.The next really great thing about it is that it's extremely aromatic. It has a really spa-like lavender scent to it, it's very "clean" smelling in nature, not old-lady cloying. It's very sharp and fresh. I loved it and so did my mom. It wasn't overpowering, either. We haven't yet lit the candle, because it's more for show, but I'll update this review if we ever do, to let you know about how it smells when lit. Overall, with the message and the scent when unlit, I still rate this a 5/5. It's a fantastic product that came well-packaged and is, I think, of high quality.
