We have 4 small rescue terriers - 2 senior Cairns, a 2-year old Norfolk mix, and a Yorkie puppy - so when I spotted this beautiful piece, I HAD to have it. I couldn't wait for it to arrive, and the day it did, I put it right on. Unfortunately, within 2 hours, the chain fell from my neck and the charm dropped to the ground (the latter, thankfully, undamaged). I had not been playing with the charm or touching the necklace at all when it broke; nothing was touching it.Despite being disappointed about the broken chain and its apparently weak construction, the charm is adorable. I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the chain when I first opened the box; the charm, in my initial estimation, seemed a better quality. However, the chain wasn't bad looking by any means.Unfortunately in consideration of the cost, I can't recommend this product as a fair value.
